The controller provided with the kit can also be run at 24 volts.

The Motor is a BMC 1000w, and the crystalyte controller offers 35 amps of continous power. The controller has multiple features, such as reversing the direction of the motor shaft from clockwise to counter clockwise with the turn of a key. It also has adjustable current(amperage) & voltage (for experts only). This kit can directly bolt on to your Currie, GT, Schwinn, Ezip, Izip & Mongoose Electric Scooters. It is our most popular power upgrade kit for robot builders, electric powered vehicles, and any other concept you may have with a powerful electric motor.

The kit includes a 1000w BMC Brushless Motor, and an extremely heavy duty 72v35a crystalyte controller. Our kit works best at 36v or 48 volts. We have tested this kit out at 48 Volts on a Schwinn S600 Electric Scooter & it pushes 30+ MPH on stock 15t/90t gearing. It will make any scooter or machine extremely powerful and very fast! No other bolt on motor can produce speeds like this. If you want to go all the way, use lithium batteries and your experience will be incredible. You will also reduce the weight of the project, scooter or bike by up to 35lbs!
