 Currie Technologies Pinion Gear & Roller Clutch Assemblies. We have several gearing options avaialble. The most common gear is a 15 tooth roller clutch pinion gear. This is stock for most GT, Schwinn, Izip, Mongoose & all Currie Electric Scooters. Currently the stock gearing on Schwinn, GT, Mongoose & Izip scooters range from an 11t, 12t, or 15-tooth gear.
The 11 Tooth, and 12 Toothdo NOT have roller clutches.
The 15 Tooth (pictured) & 19 Tooth Pinion gears have roller clutch assemblies preinstalled. They require 12mm Shaft adapters, which are are stock on many scooter by Currie/Izip. All Currie Electric Bikes, and USPD kits use the 19th tooth Roller Clutch Pinion gear Assembly. This 19t Pinion-Clutch assembly is an OEM part direct from Currie Technologies.
